MRHI_What's a home inspection?

A home inspection is a limited, non-invasive examination of the condition of a home, often in
connection with the sale of that home. An inspection will determine the areas of the home that are
not performing properly, as well as items that are beyond their usefull life or are unsafe. Inspections
include areas of the home`s interior and exterior, from the roof to the foundation and the exterior drainage and retaining walls. If problems and symptoms are found, the inspector may recommend further evaluation. We will also recommend solutions to the defiencies so you may make a better judgement without calling for estimates for each defiency. A home inspection is a visual inspection to determine problems and conditions that exist at the time of the inspection and is not to be mistaken for an appraisal.

MRHI_What Should I Expect In A Inspection?

Our inspector will meet you at the property at the time you have selected and agreed to. The home inspector and prospective buyer will inspect the property from top to bottom. This will include a check of the roof, basement, heating system, water heater, HVAC system, structure, plumbing, electrical and many more aspects of the home or building looking for improper building practices, those items that require extensive repairs, items that are general maintenance issues, as well as some fire and safety issues.

Whether you are a first time buyer or an owner of multiple homes, New Jersey City Home Inspection will provide a thorough and educational inspection. MRHI_Why Do I Nee A Home Inspection?

The purchase of a home is one of the most important purchases you will make in your lifetime. It is
imperative that you are as knowledgeable as possible about this purchase. A home inspector is trained
to be able to evaluate the home in detail and give you a report that will help you to make an informed
decision about purchasing the home. An inspection report should describe the home in detail and will highlight the areas that are problematic. A home inspection makes sense even if you are already a homeowner. As humans, we all get annual physical checkups - why not give your home a checkup? Many homeowners are living in homes that have serious problems that if identified early can save considerable repair costs. Defects such water leaks can cause serious and costly problems, but if they are detected early can be corrected at little or no cost. A home inspection can also give you an outline of the routine maintenance that needs to be done to the home. Home sellers will want to have an inspection to find problems that a buyer's inspection may find allowing the seller to make the necessary repairs prior to the home going on the market.

MRHI_What To Look For In A Home Inspection.

Experience • Home Inspection Training
Association Membership • Proper Insurance

A professional home inspector is more than simply a person that looks throughout the home for dings, holes and water leaks. Home inspections are detailed surveys that gauge the overall status of the home's condition. When choosing a home inspection service, make sure they are trained in the latest home inspection codes, rules and regulations, as well as, being certified to perform a home inspection.

In conjunction with being certified, the home inspector you choose should be responsible, professional, unbiased and experienced. The company should carry liability insurance for the safety of both the homeowner and the inspector. Memberships to the american society of home inspectors, national association of home inspectors or any local home inspection guild is also a very good sign.

We book inspections 7 days a week at the hour of your convenience.
