

Our home inspection includes a visual evaluation of the home’s accessible electrical systems in accordance with the New Jersey Home Inspection Standards of Practice (NJAC 13:40-15).
• Main service panel and subpanels (where accessible)
• Service entrance conductors and grounding/bonding (where visible)
• Circuit breakers or fuses
• A representative number of outlets, switches, and lighting fixtures
• Visible wiring in accessible areas
• General electrical safety conditions and material defects
Systems are evaluated visually and operated using normal controls where appropriate and safe.
The electrical inspection is visual and non-invasive and does not include:
• Load calculations or code compliance determinations
• Tracing concealed wiring
• Disassembly beyond readily accessible components
• Determining system capacity or future performance
