Plumbing System & Water Supply Line Inspection

As part of the home inspection, we perform a visual evaluation of the home’s accessible plumbing systems in accordance with the New Jersey Home Inspection Standards of Practice (NJAC 13:40-15).

What We Inspect

• Interior water supply piping and visible drain, waste, and vent piping
• Water heater and visible safety components
• Functional flow at sinks, tubs, showers, and toilets
• Visible signs of leaks, corrosion, or improper installation
• Main water shut-off valve location and operation (when accessible)
• Visible portion of the main water service line, including identification of piping material such as copper, galvanized steel, or lead when observable
