Exterior walking surfaces are inspected for general safety and visible structural concerns.

What We Inspect

• Concrete, masonry, wood, or composite steps
• Sidewalks and entry pathways
• Settlement, cracking, heaving, or displacement
• Trip hazards and uneven surfaces
• Handrails and guardrails where present
• Attachment and stability of railings

Purpose

To identify visible safety hazards or conditions that may present risk of injury.

Limitations

The inspection does not include load testing, engineering analysis, or underground substrate evaluation.
